MASSIVE ART POST!!!!!! I was checking some books in the office today, they were catalogues from some old exhibitions that the company i work for did some promotional work with. I was aware of the first artist David Choe, he is one of a new breed of painters taking inspiration from a multitude of sources. He works in a range of mediums but i am on a bit of a painting bender at the moment so check his website (HERE) if you want to see the range for your self. The next artist is an absolute persy that i had never heard of this morning. Antony Micallef's paintings are a mash up of varying styles with obvious touches of graffiti mixed up with brush skills that are second to non. Something that i personally look for in paintings is the sense that the final product has come effortlessly, this is at the forefront of these brilliant paintings.
